Analyzing differences among Acetal Copolymer and Dupont Delrin in Sheet or Plate and Round Rod
Delrin is a great plastic for turning on a lathe lathe. It is simple to turn, however it requires slow speeds. I use this plastic to make Scottish small pipes chanters. Between the Delrin and Acetal rods, both materials are exceptionally tough and easily machinable, and they have similar physical properties.
